Late 19th century Minton's Secessionist pottery jardinière designed by John Wadsworth and Leon Solon, with peacocks and Art Nouveau foliage in shades of blue, green, purple and red. Impressed marks to the underside. 41cm diameter, 37cm high approx. Together with an associate oak Arts and Crafts style torchere stand. (2) (B.P. 21% + VAT)
Heavy crazing overall with noticeable cracks to the underside and at least one vertical crack to the jardinière.
